Acceptable Use Policy — VidSwapy

Content standards, prohibited categories, reporting channels, and moderation for VidSwapy, the AI face swap tool.

Last updated: 2026-10-22

VidSwapy ("we", "the Platform") is committed to providing safe, lawful, and responsible AI face swap services. This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") applies to all content uploaded to, generated by, or distributed through the Platform, and sets out our content standards, moderation, reporting procedures, and enforcement actions. All users must comply with this Policy.

1. Scope

This Policy applies to all content handled by the Platform, including:

  • User uploads: face photos, target videos, GIFs, and target images submitted by users.
  • Generated output: face-swapped videos, GIFs, and images produced by the Platform.

2. Content Standards & Prohibited Categories

The Platform prohibits generating the following six categories of content:

  1. Pornography / NSFW content.
  2. Violence / gore.
  3. Hate speech.
  4. Child-unsafe content (CSAM).
  5. Deepfakes / impersonation of real people.
  6. Content infringing copyright or trademarks.

The clauses below break these categories down further.

2.1 Absolutely Prohibited — Zero Tolerance

The following will be actioned immediately and may be reported to authorities:

  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any sexual content involving minors, in any form, without exception.
  • Content that promotes or facilitates terrorism, extremism, or mass violence.
  • Content inciting genocide or ethnic hatred.
  • Non-consensual intimate imagery: nudification, intimate-scene compositing, or sexualized face swaps of any real person.
  • Face swaps of any real person without their consent, and any swapped content used to deceive, defraud, harass, defame, or impersonate — regardless of consent.

2.2 Restricted — Subject to Review

  • Violent content: only with a clear creative or educational context.
  • Politically sensitive content: no content that may mislead the public about real people or events.
  • Public figures and celebrities: swaps involving recognizable public figures must be clearly parodic or satirical and never imply endorsement or authentic statements.

2.3 Generally Prohibited Conduct

  • Impersonating real individuals, brands, or organizations.
  • Infringing intellectual property, publicity, or privacy rights.
  • Deceiving viewers by passing AI-generated content off as authentic footage of real events.
  • Bulk-generating spam or deceptive commercial content.
  • Attempting to bypass the Platform's safety measures.

2.4 Source of Uploaded Material

You may only upload photos, videos, or GIFs of yourself, or material for which you have explicit permission from every person depicted. Uploading another person's likeness without their consent is prohibited. Permission to upload never authorizes generating the content prohibited under Section 2.1.

3. Content Moderation

We operate a multi-layer moderation system:

3.1 Automated Safeguards

  • Abuse monitoring on generation requests (rate patterns, repeated policy-violating attempts).
  • Automated blocking of accounts with repeated violation attempts.

3.2 Human Review

  • All user reports are reviewed manually.
  • Content flagged by automated safeguards enters a human review queue before enforcement where feasible.

3.3 Periodic Audits

  • We periodically sample generation records for policy compliance and review our enforcement accuracy.

3.4 Content Severity Levels

| Level | Description | Review | Action | |---|---|---|---| | L1 — Critical | Child safety, terrorism | Immediate block + human confirmation | Permanent ban + report to authorities | | L2 — High | Non-consensual intimate imagery, fraud, impersonation | Priority human review | Content removal + account suspension or ban | | L3 — Medium | Non-consensual swaps, IP infringement | Human review | Content removal + warning or suspension | | L4 — Low | Other minor violations | Report-triggered review | Warning |

4. Reporting

4.1 When to Report

  • Content or behavior violating this Policy's content standards.
  • Critical violations involving child safety or terrorism.
  • Face swaps or impersonation targeting you or someone you represent, or infringement of your rights.

4.2 Reporting Principles

  • Confidentiality: reporter identity is strictly protected.
  • Impartiality: all reports receive independent, objective review.
  • Anti-abuse: malicious or false reports are recorded and may be actioned.

5. Reporting Channels

  • Report / support email: support@vidswapy.com — monitored daily; include the result link or a description of the content when possible.

6. Response & Processing Timelines

| Violation Type | Initial Response | Resolution | |---|---|---| | L1 — Critical | Within 24 hours | Within 48 hours | | L2 — High | Within 2 business days | Within 5 business days | | L3 — Medium | Within 3 business days | Within 7 business days | | L4 — Low | Within 5 business days | Within 15 business days |

If extended processing is required, we will notify the reporter proactively with reasons. Processing workflow: received (acknowledged) → triage (classify L1–L4) → review → decision → enforcement → notification.

7. Enforcement Actions

| Action | Measure | Applies to | |---|---|---| | 1. Warning | Written notice | First-time minor violation | | 2. Content removal | Violating results and tasks deleted | Confirmed L3–L4 | | 3. Feature restriction | Free trial revoked, usage blocked | Repeat minor or single L3 | | 4. Account suspension | Temporary suspension pending review | L2 or cumulative violations | | 5. Permanent ban | Permanent termination of access | L1 or repeat L2 | | 6. Legal action | Report to authorities; cooperate with investigation | Criminal-level L1 |

  • Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
